Speaking
I have been a presenter for nearly 30 years. If you count childhood dance pursuits and school concerts, then add another decade.
I have the ability to present to an overflowing office, a packed auditorium and everything in between. My speaking gigs have seen me stand in front of international, national and state conferences, whole school teams, regional service providers, private practitioners, allied health professionals and dynamic parent support groups.
I present on a range of disability, allied health, private practice, family and clinical topics. Every presentation meets my client’s specific requirements and audience.
Private practitioners are keen on business topics along the lines of management and leadership, staffing, finances, private practice software and systems, policies and procedures, content marketing and online profile. After twenty years of private practice, I readily share up my tools, tips and trade secrets.
Parents value accurate and practical information. This may include navigating disability and funding systems, goals setting, team management, advocacy and achieving vibrant positive outcomes for their child. My book ‘Becoming Chief, how to lead your child’s special needs tribe’ lays the foundation for my empowering parent presentations.
Allied health professionals and their representative peak bodies request clinical governance topics associated with the family centred practice, using a coach approach plus a variety of clinical topics such as sensory processing, self-regulation, handwriting, therapy in schools and executive functioning.
I have extensive speaking and teaching experience. I can artfully manage the room, love questions and facilitate the right amount of interaction. I am cool, calm and collected, uber organised and very easy to work with.

Cathy is so fun and easy to listen to but can share a really serious message as well. We all got a lot out of her talk.
The atmosphere of the Paeds Biz Forum made it so easy to listen, ask and learn.
