The NDIA’s Annual Pricing Review for 2025–26 has landed – and it’s an insult.
A freeze for many. A cut for others. And a restructure of travel that hits every provider hard. After months of waiting, hoping, and advocating, the result is clear: decision-makers are not listening. Or worse — there’s a larger hidden agenda and they simply don’t care.
In the face of rising inflation, escalating compliance costs, workforce complexities, and crushing admin loads, this review sends a cruel message: do more, with less – again. It’s not just disappointing — it’s disgusting. It reeks of bureaucratic disregard for the real people doing real work, every day, to uphold the rights and dignity of people with disability.
This isn’t just bad policy. It’s dangerous.
For too long, Allied Health Businesses have been expected to absorb the blow — redesigning services, training junior staff, taking on more risks, burning themselves out — all while holding up the sector with duct tape and dedication. But now, the cracks are widening. And if we don’t act, the fallout could be devastating:
- More Allied Health Businesses closing
- Exhausted clinicians leaving the sector entirely
- Services disappearing from rural and regional communities
- Fewer choices and poorer outcomes for people with disability
This is not reform. It’s neglect.
And we refuse to be silent about it.
It’s time to flood their desks with truth
We’ve created a ‘It’s Not Good Enough’ Letter Template so you can raise your voice — loud, clear, and impossible to ignore.
Tell them how this galling decision is gutting your business.
Show them the hours you’re cutting, the services you can’t afford to run, the toll it’s taking on you and your team.
Share how it’s broken your trust, morale, and belief that anyone in charge understands what’s really going on.
This is more than policy failure. It’s a betrayal of everything the NDIS is meant to stand for.
Here’s what to do:
